Research Interests

Research interests: I am a fluvial geomorphologist interested in how bedrock rivers meander and evolve in tectonically active landscapes. My research focuses on the balance between vertical incision and lateral erosion, and how sediment cover mediates this interplay. I am also interested in cascading hazards in mountainous terrain, examining how earthquakes and extreme rainfall trigger landslides and reshape river systems. My work combines field observations, geochronology, remote sensing, and modeling to better understand landscape evolution across timescales.
